Drawing upon the opulent interpretation of Spanish architecture that is Palm Beach design, this rich tradition created monuments to the elite of the time and is the inspiration for this luxury home.

This 12,000 sf villa design was brought to us with a partial floor plan design and an exterior concept which didn’t meet the quality that the owner expected for his personal villa. He asked us to reimagine his villa design and enhance the quality.

To begin, we studied how the floor plan was affecting the overall form and shape of the home.  It is a critical first step because the styling depends on good forms. This led to many floor plan changes to improve the proportion and character such as adding the turret stair tower and entry porte cochere.

The owner was drawn to a Spanish style exterior, so we took that direction and enhanced it to a level we felt fit his goals for a luxury mansion.  For inspiration we looked to the classic Palm Beach villas. They have a richness that fit this project and its owner’s taste.

The natural limestone with wrought iron accents and a Spanish tile roof. We paid great attention to the stone detailing to be sure it was both beautiful and consistent with the theme of the home.
