A luxury destination with carved stone architecture and a fresh interpretation of classic forms compliment the international brands within.

It was important to the developer of this community retail project for the architecture to compliment the high-end brands inside.  Our experience with style and character was important in giving this project the image needed.  We were asked to design every detail, from the limestone finishes to the door handles of each shop.

The owner liked the high-end retail shopping experience in Beverly Hills and wanted to capture the character. It has a warm and classic feeling but at the same time is modern.  A story was developed to guide the design. A story of an existing building with more classic forms and materials that was renovated with more modern accents.  The traditional charm and character is updated with a modern use. Crisp modern black iron details enhance the natural limestone finishes. Iron awnings, door handles, trellis, and the screening for the roof equipment give it a modern touch. The sense of an old building rich in character renewed.

Once completed, this project became a success for the developer by selling fast and at record level pricing. It set the bar for new development in the area.
